Ikan Bilis

All my life i never knew that you have to do this few step before you masak ikan bilis.(Yes,yes i don’t cook that often hence why i’m so jakun)LOL!Silly me…

  1. Cabut the kepala off
  2. Clean the tinaii@perut
  3. Open it to half
  4. Remove the tulang?(A friend of mine told me about this and im lilke HUH?! Tulang?Adaka?)

Apparently, if you do all the above your ikan bilis lagi garing and sedap and true enough memang sedap! so much better than my old style of cooking.Punyala banyak kerja mau buat this,adeh!All this while me masak ikan bilis just rendam dalam air and then goreng hahahhaha.Bosuon betul! How in the world you wanna take out the tulang? Ikan bilis punyala kecil.And to do this cleaning process punya la banyak masa you need.I tried doing it with Dan the other day he gave up after 30 min or so and i continued for like another hour and geezz my fingers punyala penat and don’t say about the smell FUH…FISHY GILA!

And the amount of ikan bilis that i bought..hmm alamat la dua bulan baru siap sia kerjakan.By then i think its time for me to throw this one out and buy another kilo of fresh bilis! Mulau! Check out my ikan bilis!

Overdose case..i believe i could feed 20 people with this ikan bilis!

Dan trying his best to be patience with the BILIS.Kalau mau makan mesti gotong royong bah…

FYI: This is one of the thing we did over the Raya holiday.:)

    bahan2..formal kunun…hehe..

    1.ikan bilis of course
    2.asam jawa (depend la, if masak bnyak more asam jawa la-kasi campur air sikit)
    3.sugar (ikut ko pnya rasa)
    4.garam sikit ja, kalo masin xsadap..hehe
    5.cili padi
    6.bawang merah (jan goreng..kasi campur d dalam air tu asam jawa)

    senang ja tu…kampung2 pnya style..hehe..but make sure jan telampau banyk air tu asam jawa, nti teda rasa..hehe…try it!
