Tonle Sap- Floating Village.
It is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia. For most of the year the lake is fairly small, around one meter deep and with an area of 2,700 square km. During the monsoon season, water is pushed up from the Mekong into the lake, increasing its area to 16,000 square km and its depth to up to nine meters.

This is how some of the houses at that village look like. They fit 5 or more people per house!

Some only have big plastic canvas as their roof.

Road they use to commute from Tonle Sap to Siem Reap City. Very DUSTY.

Dugout go from houses to houses to sell their products.

Floating house.

Narrow “road”

Another floating home.

Endless horizon

The kampung terapung.
This trip to Tonle Sap village cost us 15USD per person. It took us 1 half hours in total to finish the boat ride. Imagine how besar is this place! AMAZING!!
Our tour guide asked us if we wanted to go and see “hanging cemetery” but we said no. Basically people are hang on the tree instead of being buried under ground. Eeee..takut.
