B: Hi Morning…. What can i help you with your salary matter? Are you talking about salary or some other claims that you have sent it?

A: No, not claims but it’s my monthly salary…should i get it in HQ or will HR bank it in for me?

B: Oh..i see.. Didn’t you get your check when you did you exit interview? I thought i saw them writing the check for you?

A: Yea.

B: Ok…so did you bank it in already?

A: NO..i have not

Everyone has been asking me , so how is it now since you became wife? How’s life? Anything changed? To be honest, to me nothing has changed so far. Everything remain the same except that now i’m a Mrs and it’s official and name have change from Emelda Vincent to Emelda Vincent-Gomez.

Life has been good to us so far except for the unfortunate event that took place recently..sigh. I still can’t move on from it… at times..bunyi sikit pun sia gelabah sudah…hate it! I feel like i have no life macam tu…hmmm. Im trying to forget the whole incident, i am…but hmm i guess sia masi terkejut lagi.

Ok..i actually have blogged about something else here..something related to living together for sometimes and understanding one another quirkiness…but half way through it  husband bilang..JANGAN NANTI SIA BULI KAU !..So, worried that i may be “killed” by the “weapon” ( very dangerous i tell you (the “weapon” i mean) i have to delete the whole thing immediately..so no funny post for today guys..sorry.

So instead, im gonna go ahead and check this   barcode scanner maybe it will help me out with my future business…who knows, one day i might  suddenly become a millionaire and want to open a business kan? ” dreaming of a great fantastic superbly rich lifestyle now” ahhhhhhh…BLISS!

Hah!  So much of my “I wanna be lazy on my birthday plan and talk” wahahhaha..so not! I ended up cleaning the house.. sweeping, mopping, washing all dishes, feed gummi,clean her cage and gave her shower…u know why?? Because of stupid American idol result! I was so irritated and sakit hati that Kris won the title..sometimes i wonder…Orang america ni ada otak ka inda da? Do they choose talent or look? I thought American Idol was talent contest not “beauty contest”…sigh..oh well..Im sure Adam will be a successful singer from today onwards even if he didn’t get to be crowned as American Idol Winner. Yeay to that! Nevertheless, Congrats Kris…wish you all the best and good luck with your new career!

Enough with AI..come back to me. So there’s so much of things has happen since the last day i updated my post. I when for an interview yesterday at Sri Kembangan..not sure if  im gonna get that job or not  but if  i do ..hmmm..i may need to rethink again..LOL!! Basic rendah and the travelling time needed is ridiculously panjang from home to Kembangan its like 45 minutes for me…adeh deh.. pengsan la sia kalau hari hari spend that much time on the road to work and back home and that timing tak masuk traffic jam…imagine if its peak time…arg..i may spent like 2 hours…LOL!

And then in the evening, i volunteered for Harlem Globetrotters event.  Dan’s company needed help and i offered myself to do it, easy job..just usher Datuks and Datins to their sit..and thats about it..the hard part was..to recognize them and then “halau” orang tak faham bahasa…yes… sometimes people can be such a pain in the arse la.tsk tsk tsk..i had so much fun at the event…i laughed so much that my jaw was hurting and same goes to my tummy… they were damn funny and talented!  Will show pictures later.

On Monday, i made a trip to KLIA…No i was not there to fetch anyone or buy ticket to some exotic get away holiday, but i was there for my cousin and my lil niece Brooklyn. They have 3 hours to spare before their flight back to Sdyney..since i do not know when will i see them again.. so i took the chance to go and see them. I only have 1 half hour time together but it is worth every toll money and gas for me. Ya la.. like i said..i do not know bila lagi i can see them..they come back to kk once a year and its not always the same month and date as my travelling plan back to kk…so yea.. and OMG, my niece is such a cutie pie, friendly, talkative ( in baby language) and hahahah…very naughty. She rebut my fruit from my hand and finish it up..yes, my cousin bought few bananas from Kg…sia makan sikit saja..the rest habis my niece makan..hahah..Brook sempat lagi kasih pecah one glass in the airport..she nearly gave her mom a heart attack! I hope i will be bale to see them again soon…like in a years time from now, not 5 or 10 years down the road

Today was my 1st birthday celebration at Dan’s family house ( last year we were out celebrating it). Dan’s mom made me a cheese cake(yummy cheese cake) and Dan’s Step dad cooked me dinner. At least one of my wish today came true heheh..Im so thankful for their nice warm gesture… ya la, im not their daughter ( yet) but they really made an effort for my day..althought its small celebration..but it meant a lot to me. Thank you Auntie and Uncle..and Sumee for being there, celebrating my birthday together. Really appreciate it.

So im a year older ..im officially 28 today …gonna hit the number 3 soon… am i hating it you ask?? NOPE..i dont..i like my age and im waiting for the number 3 to come soon too ( patiently)… Even with number 3 in front..i dont think my life will change a lot…i will only be wiser, richer, prettier and happier!  Im loving my life!

He came to the door, gave me the silliest smile just the exact smile when he has something “crazy” in his mind. I knew right away there is something going on..but i just didn’t know it was this time.

When he handed me the piece of paper..i thought to myself..OMG…what is it now? I took it without much enthusiasm… Read  it briefly and then put it aside but deep inside i was secretly smiling, touched and at the same time wanted to laugh my ass out!

He asked me to come near him and handed me an ugly plastic bag .. I looked at him thinking to myself..WHAT?? A TAG?? You gave me a TAG?? But why?? I don’t need one…But not wanting to hurt him, i took the tag and put it aside ,smiled and said thank you.

I guess he saw my facial expression( it’s not that im not happy but  i was seriously feeling really down, with everything that’s going on in my life now and  period is not helping too) and he quickly said ” Im sorry my love, that’s all i can afford this year”….

Today,once again i took the note out and read it for another time… and this time i laughed.

Playing with my 120 pro Palettes make up which i bought recently from ebay..i think the color is really good vibrant and long lasting. This make up color was inspired by peacock color..LOL!  When i was at kl bird park recently …nampak tu peacock cantik sangat i decided to try this on..I didnt get the color perfect but hell..im no pro anyway..but yea and oh..this color is good for those who have fairer skin color than me..and of cos..BIG EYES! Not like mine…wahahahhaha.

Genting Highland trip.. It was kinda foggy and misty the day we arrived there…It was only 2 days 1 night trip for us. We when up there cos my sis was down here with her hubby on holiday and i just found out that they have express check- in counter and check out counter…How cool is that? Main buang kunci saja dalam box..LOL!

I believe you have been through interviews   If you never..then you must be very lucky ..that you got a job without having to go through the crazy procedures.

I personally hate interviews, specially those really formal interview (where no smile allowed, No jokes allowed ,only serious face)…lately my luck of bumping into these stupid interviews kinda flowing in like water…sigh…i felt like i just wasted my time so muchhhhhh…for instance like these ones:

NOTE: I will only tell you the worse one, well at least to me.

Feb 09: Media company in Kelana Jaya

Interviewer: The Company owner

Interview scheduled at 11am..he came in only at 11:45am.  ( I hate waiting) He walked into the interview room and start asking questions,after so much time wasted at the end..not only i felt stupid but i also felt humilated.

1- He didn’t do his job. He basically didnt go through my resume, but just checked my previous job title and company without checking my experience and how long have i been with the company. He even said, oh i thought you have been working with the company for about a year or so when i have clearly i have mentioned it at my resume i have only 5 months experience in Event management.

2-  Next he said im too old to learn new things…people at my age shouldn’t be learning new things anymore but should just stick to what i was doing before (for goodness sake… is there an age limit to gain experience and learn new things?)and that i should just be housewife and care for the house and husband only. Im like WTF!!!Im soooo pissed at his STUPID STATEMENT…i wish i could just tell him… if you dont want to hire me , you shouldn’t have asked me to come all the way here and waste my freaking time!

3-And then he asked me why don’t i try applying in the entertainment industry… Im like..what the hell is wrong with this person?? Asked me to come here and then asked me to go and try entertainment industry pula?? Dah tu, he repeats this over and over and over again….ok, ok..i get the hint! I dont get this freaking job..He should have the balls to just be honest with me..don’t have to waste my time kan?

Guess that is why his company is still at that level despite being in this line for almost 10 years now…padan muka dia!

All in all, not only i wasted my time, petrol and toll money, i felt humilated,angry and irritated, specially when he said im too old to learn new things and his belief that at the age of 27 i shouldn’t be learning new stuff anymore but should just stick to what i was doing or just become a TAI TAI at home! URGGGG…i hate time waster! I guess you know the result, i was not hired. BECAUSE  27 IS TOOOOO OLD TO LEARN NEW THINGS!

March09 : Sport Club in Klang

Interviewer: Sport and recreactional manager( bull dog woman), Hr manager(dumb one) and another manager ( the quiet one)

Interview was suppose to happen at 7pm..everyone was late(the interviewer that is). I didnt know that i have 3 judges in front of me..i thought this would be one on one interview. I never like 3 versus 1 interview or 2 versus 1..i always prefer 1 on 1 interview. More personal and not too intimidating…3 lawan 1, makes me feel like im being interogated by policemen for some crime i did..

This interview, i think talking to a wall is sooooo much better than talking to these clowns…seriously! Let me tell you why…

7:15pm

Hr Manager and Quiet Manager “This nick name suits them very well”

Talking to them is like you playing tennis in a big open court all by yourself and still somehow hoping that the tennis ball will bounce back to you automatically,LOL! Basically what im trying to say here is that the question and answer session was like a dead conversation. It is just one way ticket! Can you imagine how boring is that? And this is coming from a SPORT AND RECREATIONAL CLUB MANAGER AND HR??!!! I guess that tells you why the club is LITERALLY DEAD!

7:30 pm

BULL DOG woman came into the interview room LATE!

She doesnt smile,her face was soo fierce,ense,unfriendly and arrogant and she gives you this feeling “she knows everything and she is the best” She was already 30 min late for the interview , didnt have time to go through my resume but she act like she knows it all and sounding very bossy. Again, may i remind you readers…this is SPORT AND RECREATIONAL CLUB ya… you would expect Sport and recreactional manager to be toned and fit…but hahahahahhahahahahahah..this manager doesnt look anything like sport manager but more like MAKAN sport manager…GEMUK!

Her favourite questions: What is your expected salary and what can you contribute to the company? OK questions, right?

But i want you to imagine this, someone who came in late, didnt have time to read your resume, but act like she knows it all, looked down at you, treat you like you have no experienced in fitness or sport industry which clearly you have ( maybe even more than hers) and gives you this one irritating look that you wish to just pull her eyeballs out from her eye socket…would you like it ? On top of that …love to give you hanging questionaire… how would you react to it?

She asked me the same question( questions above) TWICE in space of  10 mins!

Bull Dog said: About the salary, i saw that you wrote here RMxxxx, what if i say i can’t afford to pay you the amount you asked for?

Me: I understand,  hence why i wrote there, its negotiable.

Bull Dog: So how much are you willing to be paid for if i can’t afford to pay you the amount.

Me: Well, depends on how much can you offer me, i wouldn’t want to say yes without  knowing how much can YOU offer me. ( i smile at her, but in my mind i cant help but think… she really need some sexercise and let that blood flow into her brain again)

Bulldog: Like i said i cant pay you the amount, so how much are you willing to get?? ( sounding irritated)

Me: Well i was hoping that you could put down a price and will see from there and maybe we can negotiate??

“no answer from bulldog”

Me: Rmxxxx would be the min.

Bulldog.silent for while and then asked.

Bull dog: What can you contribute to the company if we bring you in here?

Me: Well, it depends.  What do you mean by contribute. In what ways..sales? Sports? events?management??

“No answer from bulldog so i decided to go on”

I can definitely generate more club revenue by giving you more classes, sports activities, bla bla bla….(of cos i didnt say bla bla bla in interview, malas mau type) This will keep your members active and happy. By doing so, more happy members, more introductions to the club..means more members for us to recruit.

Bulldog woman went silents… she seems to be thinking or processing what i’ve just said to her..maybe she is trying to copy that idea and make it her idea kut…entah la..

Dumb HR and queit Manager turns to asked me questions, again i feel like im playing tennis all alone in an open court without any opponent.  How sad…. “krik, krik, krik”

Suddenly bulldog cuts in the conversation

Bulldog:  So what is your expected salary???

Me: “In my heart” What??!!! Didn’t i just answer dumbo that questions, how irritating is this?? At last i said, well you need to tell me what is the price that you can offer so i can tell you from there.. i can’t be saying RMXXXX but you still cant pay me..why don’t we negotiate and see from there..after all thats what nego is all about.

Bulldog: How about RMxxxx?

Me: Sorry, i wont take that offer as i am worth more than that. ” I have freaking 8 years experience and bulldog only giving me some fresh graduate amount of salary???!!! Would you take it if it was you???”

Bulldog: Since you say you are worth more than that, what can you contribute to the company?

Me: “in my heart”  Is she deaf or just plain dumb?? mannnn she really needs some SEXERCISE……. i am totally irritated at her already…

Me: Erm…i believe i have answer that question ealier on, but maybe you didnt get it. Perhaps you could tell me exactly what do you mean by” what can i contribute to the company?”?  Since it is obvious that my first answer was not the answer that  you looking for…Is it on the sales department?

Bulldog: No….

“Krik, krik, krik”

me: Ok then, since i do not know your club enviroment or members, i would not want to act like some smart pants here and simply change everything….i would stick to my answer earlier on.. i would offer more activities for your members I.E. family day, sports day, more earobic classses with certified instructors so on and so forth. Since this is a SPORT AND RECREATIONAL CLUB… it is only right to have more activities for your members to join and have fun and it should be done at least 3 months once not once a year…”looked at bulldog, trying to hint to the queit manager that she needs to get her fat ass moving and exercising if not sexercising!”

Hr manager nad queit manager: Nods and smile…not to the sexercising part but to my idea of having activities plan all the  time.

At this point..i dont give a damn about the job anymore..i dont care if im politically right or what ever you call it..but i was ready to berperang mulut with this BULLDOG  lady speaking with some stupid slang on…URG!!!

To BULLDOG,

CONGRATULATIONSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Not only you proved you are one big fat bossy,arrogant manager..but you also prove to me that you are one dumb boss to work with….

Right there and then i told myself..even if they would offer me this job..i would turn them down 100% unless if bulldog is no longer working with that company,i may reconsider. ENOUGH working with THICKOS.

I think checking  what’s Outer Banks rentals about is better than thinking about them now..

I made a lunch  appointment yesterday (informal interview) at 12:30pm. This appointment was suppose to happen last week but due to some unforeseen circumstances..i have to reschedule it to a week later which was yesterday.

11:15am- ok time to get ready for my appointment. Took shower,dress up and put on some make up and ready to go.

12:10pm- Looking high and low for my house key..Can’t find it..start panicking! Appointment is at 12:30pm and im still at home searching for my house key!

12:15pm- Called Dan. Asked him if he saw my house key

12:16pm- Dan said no, he doesnt have my house key… I was becoming even more panicky! My appointment,OMG!!

12:16:30pm- And suddenly Dan said “Oh ohhhhh…..i think i took your house key and its in my pocket!”

Me:  What??!!!! How come???!!! How did that happen???!!!

Dan: I dont know……. ‘he started laughing”

Me: But i have appointment at 12:30pm…. With Chan …remember???

Dan: Oh yea kan…oh ohhhhhhhh…’still laughing”

Me: “geram sudah ni”

That was just crazy for me…tapi  funny too bila fikir balik. Daniel joke about it all the way telling Chan that he doesnt want me to get out from house sebab sia ni public nuisance konon…celaka betul,LOL!! Worried i may hurt the neighbours plant or something like that….sot!

Nasib la si Chan  ok, i called him and told him that  i will be slighty late sebab im locked in my own house and before i could finish explaining everything…he too started laughing out loud and even jokingly said..please don’t jump out of the balcony!

Thank goodness everything went well yesterday (before and after the lunch appointment). Can you imagine if something bad/emergency happen yesterday… and i cant get out and be stuck at home.. eeeeeee scary oh…

I think this tagging  bug is really hitting  facebook la nowadays…till today i think i have  MORE than 10 tags!!! Gila eh. • I never spend much time studying when i was in my school year. Been busy with my swimming training and because of that right after i stopped swimming i jadi “gila” …gila party that is. I was partying like mad. EVERYDAY  non stop. My mom was so worried that i could not pass my SPM and i still remember what she told me  “My only wish is that you could pass your SPM, pangkat 3 pun okla asalkan not S.A.P. Thank God, i pass my exam .

• I had my first crush at the age of 12. LOL! He was a state swimmer from KL. We only communicate through letters and that’s it. Never spoke to each other…puppy love la kononnya… it lasted for good 1 year..letter writting that is

• I had my first boyfriend at the age of 15.

• I LURVEEE Lollies, Gummi bear, sour strip,bubble gums and marsmallow. I can really spend my money on this stuff.

• I loveeeee pet. Dog specially..i can still tolerate cat but im still a big fan of  dog and because of that, i used to keep 7 dogs in my old rented house..and it broke my heart to give them away when i have to move to condo.

• I once told this to my GF..i am scared off getting married,LOL! Guess that’s because i am worried that i will end up with a broken marriage. That thought scare the hell out of me…sometimes it still pop in my head! ” To all, im not saying Daniel is not a good man…it just the effect of seeing lots of broken marriages while growing up, it’s haunting i tell you”

• I had my leg broken once at the age of 12.

• Im scared of injection! I hate visiting clinic because i always think Doc will jab me. Sia sanggup tahan sakit dari jumpa doc.

• I shed my first tears in front of Daniel when our relationship was only 5 days old. LOL!!! I cried because i was getting a tetanus jab after my leg kena “masak” by minyak panas.

• I have my belly button and tongue pierced. Don’t asked how i manage to go through this one….LOL!!

• I don’t trust people easily…. but once you earn that from me..it’s easy.

• People think im fierce. I don’t think of myself as garang person but maybe too straight forward…

• People see me as a confident person but i sometimes don’t see that in me.

• Provoke me…heh, you better run away.

• I hate people who is over the top with their self confidence…geez! They speak like no one else is better than them..urg!

• I HATE HATE HATE HATE Balloons!!!

• I sooo want to learn how to pole dancing!! That is next one my must do list..hopefully i can do this soon

• I can’t live without my rice or my coffee. I need this at least once a day!

• I love cooking but i hate the part where i need to clean up every utensil and plates.

• I love make up and nail polish.

• I dream to be rich,LOL!! Who doesn’t right?

• I never like going to cinema, but since Dan love cinema i tagged along.:P  I prefer watching movies at home. I think queing up is waste of time and sitting next to stranger is like putting your life in line..you just don’t know which crazy maniac gonna sit next to you and what is their next move. Remember my cinema experience? HORNY COUPLE??? Geezzz..that still give me a nightmare..Wall-E is only them in my head! Fuckos!
