Sorry for the lack of update recently, been really LAZY! LOL! Just wanted to chill out at home after working out in the gym.

As you all already know this is our 4th week and still going strong. Im proud of what we have done so far, what we have achieved. If you ask me how i feel really,what i think about all this workout.. HONESTLY..IT”S PAIN IN THE ASS! That’s the truth! But we all know there is no other way you can loose weight and be healthy at the same time..other than to workout. So to me, the PAIN IN THE ASS is a good pain at the end of the day…LOL! What makes it even more worth it is when you get to see the result and when someone start saying  ” hey you looking good now, or hey you’ve lost some weight huh?” That’s the best thing about all this..it’s all worth the pain and i can’t wait really to see my body gets back to where it used to be.. it may take a year.. but i will try to go on till i see changes!

Anyway, here is my score for Monday and Wed circuit.

Monday

1- Side step up- 17, 17 ,16

2- Santana Push up- 4, 6, 6

3- Rock climber- MIssed out the first set, 32, 32

4- Deadlift- all 3 sets – 14 reps

Enough talking about my workout score, now let’s move on to something that is really interesting.

Do you love to eat/drink soy? Anything with soy? If yes, i suggest you sit and think and read this article before you go further with it.. of cos, it is up to you to see and evaluate this yourself. I have stopped taking soy product now… and even if i really want to take soy product, i make sure its only once a month. Unlike before…My master trainer told me about soy..it freaks me out .. but i think it’s best that you read it up yourself. 1- I need to lose weight and detox.

2- I need to learn and understand my body, what will happen if i do this diet, understand my body how it will react so i could understand how diet could  effect our life.

3- Apparently this diet is very healthy because it’s all natural food.

I intend to do this diet for only one week, but if i could go longer i will definitely do.

So yesterday was my day 1. I had only…

Breakfast – 1 cup coffee with 2 half teaspoon of sugar.  1 pear and then 3 tablespoons of rice with pork meat.

LUNCH-  1 pear

Dinner-2 small bowl of  Chicken soup with carrot,tomato and quarter potato. 4 angle bean ( no idea how much i took ,LOL) 3 tablespoons of rice and 3 chicken fillets.

That was my so called diet. My master trainer said you don’t need to change your diet so drastically as you can still eat bit of your normal food just put in more vege and fruits ( like 60%) in your diet and definitely no carbonated drinks only plainnnnnnn water. If you are craving for sweet drink opt for coconut water.. that will do you real good.

Talking about water intake, it is not necessary you only take 8 glass of water a day..you may need more than that or even less.. water intake is depending on your gender, height and weight and lots more other factor.  Too much water in your body is also not good…. it can lead to a condition known as water intoxication and to a related problem resulting from the dilution of sodium in the body, hyponatremia. So be careful.

P/s: I have modified this diet according to my needs… my master trainer diet is 90% on vege and fruits only.

I bought it out of curiosity i don’t really know how effective this patch is or what is the full benefit or how long then you can see the benefit from using this patch but i have read other detox patch review from our local newspaper so decided to give this bamboo detox a go.

Day 1 using it-i dont feel much different while having the patch on except the warm feeling  on my feet and my tummy having that  churning feeling and it makes me feel like visiting the loo but that never happen.

Day 2- I no longer feel that warm feeling on my foot nor tummy but the next day in the morning, seriously..i was passing gas like no body’s business!!! I know its crazy but it’s true..i just can’t stop letting gas out of my tummy but the weird thing is..all the gas that comes out…Non of it is smelly gas…wahahahahahahha..just plain pure air!! wohoooo!!!  Anyway, about 30 mins  passing wind like mad later… i had my first visit to the loo…. then 1 hour after another visit to the loo… to me… visiting loo twice and do business number 2, is something really out of the norm! “yes, i have constipation issue, all the time!”

After that, not only i feel light after buang all the number 2 business down the toilet bowl.. but  i feel very energetic too the whole day. Now im not sure if that’s just my mind playing trick on me… but what ever it is.. i like the trick that it playing on me…heheheheh…who won’t want to feel healthy, fresh, light and energetic kan??

Unfortunately, i can only try it on twice because i only bought 2 packets…bohoo!  Oh well,  if have a chance to go to that shop again..i will definitely grab this patch and buy moreeeeeeeeeeee…:) heheh.

As you all may already know, we spent our weekend at Krabi this time around as our post engagement holiday. It was really fun! I really enjoyed the short weekend trip.

We arrived on Friday afternoon only to be greeted by rainy, cloudy and windy weather. The hotel coordinator told us that the weather has been like that for the past few days and may last till weekend. My heart sank when i heard the news.As soon as we reach the hotel, we waste no time and went out to check Krabi Pranang beach area. Before we stroll down the beach, Dan suggested that we should rent a motorbike to go around town and head we go hunt for motorbike rental place. Five minute walk later.. we found the place. For 200 baht per day (rm20) and we have our own “superbike” to travel in Krabi.

I was kinda nervous at first when Dan start the motorbike, it was my first time riding bike with him and that was his first too after his accident 10 years ago, LOL!! But after a while, we both had fun, laughing and Dan’s making funny sound and comments while riding the bike…ah.. that was quite an experience for me..oh did i mentioned? I also pandai pandai start motorbike and rode for about 200 meter back and forth..heheh that was fun..but i dont think i will do that here in Malaysia. Sini scary la.

Anyway, on the second day weather was still  gloomy and our island trip has to be cancelled due to choppy sea and unpredictable weather. We decided to extend the bike rental and took a trip down to Krabi town about 30 km away from where we stayed. At town, we took a boat to I can’t remember the river name now but it was suppose to bring us to this famous Krabi landmark. Along the way, we stop at one spot where we were allowed to go into a cave..that was scary yet exciting for me.. i never been to a cave before in my whole life..so that was the first (again) for me.

After the cave trip, the boat man took us to canal of mangrove.. i see lots and lots of kayu bakau “menari”. The way the tree intertwined with each other…really look like they were dancing. But the first thing pops in my mind when i saw the mangrove  was the dogs that was thrown at pulau ketam i wonder what happen to those dogs… sigh.. i hope every single of them was rescued now.

After the boat ride, which cost us 300 baht each (rm30 per person for an hour) we were suppose to go and climb this tiger cave with 1200 steps! Yes, you read that right 1200 steps.. but hahahah..someone said..er.. lets cancel that one and just go to gastrpod fossil beach.. and hop we go to that beach..sampai sana…hmm it was kinda dull for us.. so we didnt want to waste another Rm20 per person just to see batu or siput kerang yg sudah bertahun lama di dalam laut and jadi fossils… so we just did bit of shopping and went back home straight to hotel.

All in all.. the trip was really relaxing,fun and enjoyable  despite being disappointed for not being able to go to Phi Phi island and enjoy the white sandy beach as how Leonardo Dicaprio get to enjoy it in his movie called THE BEACH.

Dan and i promise we will come back to Krabi again soon to enjoy the island next round.

Can you guess how much does this food and drink cost me in Jakarta? If you have been following my post about Jakarta, im sure you will be able to guess the price…. roughly.

Nothing is cheap when it comes to mall food court and not knowing many places where i can get food that similar to Malaysia food. i don’t have much choice but to have my lunch and dinner at mall food court. I wish i had someone bringing me around though..unfortunately…no one was free..sob sob….

But one thing i love about JKT mall food court is their cleanliness!!! It’s wayyyyyyyyy cleaner than Malaysia mall food court…seriously..even their toilets..OMG!!! I think i can even walk kaki ayam in the loo and not feeling disgusted at all, LOL!! And oh…I love the fresh fruit juice too.. its so pure and yummy! Wish i can find one place here in Malaysia where they serve 100% pure juice…no sugar, no ice and less water…hmmm yummy!! Anyone out there know where i can get this??

Anyway, if you are looking for Outer Banks rentals for your holidays outside of Malaysia, just hit the highlighted “note” . I wish i can go to one of the houses…but ….. it would be awesome if i could rent one of the houses there for my honeymoon or even my wedding venue…;) but hmm..mimpi saja la Mel….LOL!

I forgot my handphone back in my apartment..decided to asked the taxi driver to make a u turn and drive me back to the apartment. To my surprise ..he was very unhappy about it..he even sigh loudly showing his “happiness” to me.. i thought that was really rude of him.

Exactly 10:45am, after leaving my apartment again…he made a big bang sound in the car..i was shocked, he was hitting his stering wheel few times and started cursing! I thought that was really really rude of him to do so.. i wanted to asked him is everything ok when suddenly…i saw this…

I  was stunt, scared and panicked! I thought it was a riot and at that point suddenly the image of my mom, dan and gummi flashed in my head..i thought im gonna be gone in that  sea of people and motor bikers….

Not until the cab driver started saying..this is why i was rushing just now..i wanted to escape from this crowd..its Jakarta election day tomorrow and today is the last day for the supporter to do their campaign…i was relief upon hearing that news…but still not good enough to make my nerve calm down. Along the way to FX mall, i was really alert of my surrounding..i was really worry that  a riot might just start out of nowhere…

You will understand it if you were in my shoe..LOL! In Malaysia, campaign was not done this way..so that really my first… my cab was surrounded by bikers..with flags.. small placard.. music blasting  from the bike saying UNDILA SBY ( something like that) and the whole bikers came with coordinated t-shirt colors! OMG..to me it really look like a riot and im stuck right in the middle of it! My heart beat was racing..seriously! And to calm myself down..i texted Daniel..but unfortunately..Dan being Dan…he replied to me in a very naughty way…LOL!!

The 15min rides turn to be 45 minutes cab ride for me..and i dont have to mentioned la how much teh cab cost me on that day…LOL! It was a BOMB! LOL!!

Apparently, the traffic jam and the campaigner will go even more crazier towards the evening…. there will be more supporters on the road.. more cars.. more bikers ..more buses..all transporting the supporters to the stadium next to FX mall…and that’s exactly what happen in the evening… but to the locals… this was nothing! It used to be even MORE crazier…. “gasp”

I was thankful to God that nothing bad happen that day.. jakarta was safe although to me.. that could just start something nasty and that was one of  my most unforgetable experience while being in Jakarta

I forgot what was this one called..i know its not ketoprak for sure ( That’s another food that’s similar as this one)… aiya tua sudah la me.

KFC!! Food that i visit pretty often here, LOL!! They don’t serve it with Coleslaw or mash potato but with nice warm yummy rice I will miss this one, for sure!

Friday, exactly 7 more days from today i will be done and over with Jakarta life and i will start my new journey in KL. Im am so happy and excited about this but at the same time worried and nervous about it. Im not so sure if my training here did gave me enough confident and knowledge to bring it down to the trainers back in KL. I do hope i have though.

It was hard for me here in Jakarta. That’s the truth..i did enjoyed the time here (people are warm and friendly) but at the same time i had fair amount of “sufferings” as well .

First it was the food..i had hard time adjusting to the food here. Food that was familiar to me back at home was really costly here in Jakarta, cheap food means i have to take the local dish which honestly doesn’t really go well with my taste bud. Then came the language.. this was the toughest part for me. Because of the language barrier, i had hard time trying to understand the training module, speaking to the local and getting around town. You may think they understand us Malaysian but that’s not true..our language is different from them! So if you are coming down to Jakarta..i  suggest that you get a good language book in hand in case you don’t know any local here! Our pronounciation and the way we say it is totally different from them! We may have some word similar but mostly..nope!

Jakarta city offer you alot of shopping malls  and most of them are as big as Pavillion back in KL and barang barang sini pun inda la murah sangat. I can say, it’s similar to what kl can offer you and since price doesnt differ much from kl, i  didnt shop for the first time in my oversees trip.

Jakarta is a metropolis city. Offices was build on sky high building, huge, tall and beautiful! (rental pun sia dengar cantik juga ) But malangnya, the houses here are so scattered that it looks so messy and almost.. menyakitkan mata (i think they need the Outer Banks homes agency to help them )  and the road condition in this housing area really reminds me off jalan Ranau to Sandakan… betul betul rosak cuma beza dia ..you get this di dalam perumahan jakarta di tengah tengah bandar and bukan di kampung.

Im sure by now, you guys know that Jakarta is not the cleanness city you can ever get. Orang sini buang sampah merata rata tempat!  Once i was in a cab on the way to one of the club, the cab driver senang saja buka window trus buang sampah dari dalam kereta like its not a big deal ( memang pun its not a big deal for them but i was so shocked) and another time, i was walking with one of my colleague here..tengah syiok syiok bercerita.. he just spat right there and then in front of me!  I was speechless when that happen..sia kegelian trus, LOL! Mau tell him off..but hmmm.again i don’t think its unusual thing for them.

Yup, thats how i see Jakarta… You may see it differently from me..but hey, we are not the same people right?

But one thing i love about Jakarta is the people… they are so nice warm and lovely! I guess that will be the one thing that i will miss the most about this beautiful yet crazy place the warmed and friendly smile of Jakartan’s!

Anyhow,  some of you have asked me is it worth to come and visit Jakarta..of cos i would say yes! Come and see the place yourself..experienced it! You need to do that to know the place yourself…don’t take my words 100% ..again like i said..we may see it differently tapi i won’t recommend it if you wanna come here alone for a longggggggggg holiday! LOL!!

It was a nerve wrecking experience for me yesterday. We decided to do a surprise birthday party for Her and Dan came up with the most craziest never thought idea before… He asked me to cook! I was of cos reluctant at first but i didn’t  say anything about it..i simple nod and say ok…. I was reluctant because i never cooked for anyone else except for Dan and myself… can you imagine all the questions running through my head at 100KMP speed?? (ok, i exaggerate too much but yea… all those questions and doubts keep popping in my head!) What if she doesn’t like my food? What if she said it’s too salty? What if she said ooh the ingredients not enough..should add this and that?? OH MAN.. i was really nervous…. but i accept the challenge without much complaint..LOL!

So Daniel decided that i should cook one of my specialty…Deep fried fish and also steam vege with oyster sauce…so off me when to hypermarket to get all the ingredient including a small birthday cake…

6:30pm i started cooking and finished just right on the dot to give her the surprise…It was just a simple cooking…

All in all..i was happy that i did the cooking…everyone enjoyed the food.. but what matter most was Auntie, im glad that she really enjoyed the food. She even tambah nasi twice which something we don’t normally see at home..yes Dan’s mom is a small eater..She love the fish head the most and “operated” the head to small pieces..LOL! She even said.. next time if our family want to makan Chinese food..we call you to cook for us ok?…LOL!! Pengsan la me… pressure is on! Mau kena pi cari recipe book la ni tau…mau belajar more about Chinese dishes…LOL!!!

I really like what took place yesterday…i cooked for Dan’s family… we all sat at the table together and eat together at the same time ( yes, this is a rare oppurtunity for all of us here… since everyone is living separately and have their own commitment already), We talked about everything and anything, shared a good laughter together and even browsed through Dan’s family old pictures..

It felt like i was back at home again yesterday with my own family members..something that i don’t get to enjoy everyday..but only 7 days out of 365 days in a year….ah…family.

Yes, in high school bendera jepun means “I am having my period now”. Have you heard of that term before? Some called it “sister” some called it “berdarah” which is normal and common… but according to Dan’s blog.. it’s called MAD COW DISEAESE…LOL!! Sia rasa ada kebetulan juga la tu term..

Yes, i am having my period now..and yes my hormones is driving me nuts…specially this month! Not only it was delayed for 10 freaking days (last month was worse it was 12 days behind!) but it made me go coo coo…like for instance..last saturday towards the evening..i just wanted to cry..and cry..and cry… im feeling really low and sad ni..tiba tiba ja. And then sunday… hahahah..i was at my angry mode..yup Dan kena berabis..sampai inda kena masak dinner… i was in bed the whole day reading and sleeping tu ja sia mau buat..i don’t even want to talk to Dan..Sia gerigitan nampak dia and i was super sensitive..sikit sikit marah ar..

Gummi is also on heat…she is also moody but not as bad as mine la…To prevent her marking the floor in the house with her blood..i bought her baby diapers… yes..she is now on baby diapers..

Last weekend, i bought her to Dan’s family house for a visit, apa lagi si Shaggy excited ni.. He justt could not stop sniffing gummi’s end(typical male)..Gummi was so irritated that she ended up snapping at Shaggy… At last..dengan sedihnya si Shaggy went and hide himself at one corner..refuse to come out even when he was called…kecundang seribu kali,LOL!!  He tried climbing on her few times…tapi all he get was “get off from me!!” from gummi.

See….Guys, don’t mess with women when they are having their period..silap haribulan ada kena halau keluar dari rumah inda tentu pasal kau tidur di dalam kereta..:P

Anyway, since we are in this topic..i wanted to ask my Muslim’s friend out there… betul ka you have to wash your used sanitary pad before you throw them away in the bin??? Making sure that all the blood stain removed from the pad then u are allowed to throw them away.. ..??? If you practice this in the jungle ..yes i would understand that 100% but di bandar??

Can you tell me? I find this somewhat..interesting yet crazy and doesn’t make sense..why do we have to clean our used sanitary pad when its meant to be dirty…Can’t we just wrap it with paper or tissue paper and put it in the plastic bag..and throw it in the bin..isn’t that good enough?Asalkan inda terexpose tu “pampers”? Cukup sudah ba tu kan? NO?

I was surprise to know this from a friend of mine last month. She is a Muslim and she said all Muslim ladies practice this… and her explanation to that was..takut hantu ambil tu pad and hisap tu darah and she still practise this till now…

I think its yucky and unhygienic to step on your sanitary pad specially when you are doing it in the PUBLIC TOILET. Erkkkk @-@!

Shocked??!! Me too… i never knew Pizza hut categorize their patrons by races! Bloody Hell!!

This was the email message that was forwarded to me…

Hello everyone. I have some interesting news.
I was in Pizza Hut (Sunway Pyramid) yesterday and suddenly my friend showed me the bill.
The bill contains normal things la (number of person, bill. number and what is ordered). But, what shocked me is that they had space called ‘ RACE ‘ .I guess since we were all wearing tudung, they labelled us as 0, which means MALAY. Later, when we went to pay…we had no service charge and no tax charge.
Still in shock, I peeped into another bill in the counter. In that bill, under the race space, it was labelled as C (which I guess means  Chinese). That bill had service and tax charges!!!
I started investigating. One of my Sri Lankan friends was labelled as Indian it seems and she also had to pay service and tax charges a few weeks back. What I ‘ m wondering is that…does anyone know about this? I find it rather strange that they charge service and tax charge using race in Pizza Hut, out of all the places!

WE SHOULD NOT GO EAT AT PIZZA HUT!

• Someone who respect and treat a woman well.
• Good physique. Tall, toned body and definitely cute firm and round bum.Yes, i like man who have a bum to see..not the papan flat type.
• Good hygiene. I can’t stand a man who doesn’t take good care of themselves. Who doesn’t shower and brush his teeth!!  Erk…no bad body odour and mouth for me…
• Who has a sense of style…i wouldn’t want to be seen going out with a man who wear baju like apek!
• Smart and witty. He have to have a good brain..he must be smarter than me. I can’t stand dumb man and yes..he have to have good sense of humor too..tak boleh tahan la duduk diam diam, you tengok me, i tengok you type of man …boringnya tu.
• Confident person but not overly confident like no one else is better than him.
• God, if he can sing and dance well …wohooo, that’s a bonus man!
• And if he can cook and do house chores without complaining… i want him to marry me ASAP! LOL! LOL! LOL! But hell yea, man like this is hard to find nowadays..so yup, definietly a plus point if you can cook and clean without sulking or making excuses.
• Who is sensitive but not overly sensitive. Yang over sensitive tu can drive me crazy!
• Last but not least, definitely nice round eyes and a great smile

Of cos kalau dia handsome, kaya and pintar lagi la bagus tapi mana la mau cari orang macam tu perfect kan?? LOL!!

So, how about you?? What makes you think he/she is attractive and sexy? Tell me…

No peeps, this is not one of my crazy picture but just me trying to show you that you can curl your hair without using any heat or expensive tools. All you need is paperbag or newspaper in my case and loadsss of patience.

When i did this for the first time, Dan thought i’ve lost my mind, LOL!!  He was wondering what the hell got into me and he even asked me “what style is this now” LOL!!! Poor man…I don’t blame him…i really do look like orang gila with all that newspaper sticking out everywhere on my hair.

Anyway, this is the end look. Its really wavy and curly. I really like the curl and seriously, this method is way better than using the iron curl. Not only it REALLY volumize my hair..the curl actually last the whole day with so liltle  hair styling gel!

P/s: To have that same effect and lasting curl as mine, you will need to let the paper on till the next day. Yes, i slept with my newspaper on my hair,LOL!
