I just got back from Bangalore, India two weekends back and last week from Langkawi. I haven’t got all the pictures up  at facebook but i would really like to share with you guys.. just not at the moment. Running short of time and been tired..need to catch some sleep and rest…

The new manager just came on board too so it has been pretty hectic with work as well…

I have been “bad” too recently..i  did not train as much as i planned and would like to…:P but i have been working out whenever i can…i will post my workout routine once i have enough time to write about it..

One thing for sure, after my India trip… i have gain weight… BOHOO! It’s crazy .. CARBS,CARBS, CARBS but OMG it’s soooooooooo YUMMY!! All the roti’s and rice i had.. i think i ate the whole INDIA!

Now i got to work harder to drop this weight… sigh.. to gain is sooooooo easy.. to lose it…FREAKING PAIN IN THE ASS!!! ARGGGG.. Tension!

Oh..aside from working out,being busy with work and worried about me gaining weight.. i have a new hobby too now…heheheheh.. i am crazy for wet marble nail polish designs… been changing and experimenting designs and color almost everyday now.. hahhha.. yes, imagine that.. EVERYDAY!

Maybe one of these days, when i’m free.. i will show you some of my work..:)

Abang was very kind to send us both up to kundasang with his car. He was basically our tour guide for the day. Along the way, he even told us the story of Gunung Kinabalu. How it got it’s name ( although part of it sia lupa sudah,LOL) and other history of sabah. Syiok juga la dengar cerita. Even nama kayu pun abang sia bagi tau kami…LOL!

We arrive at national park around 8 plus in the morning.  We first have to register ourself at the registration counter. Got our name register and then proceed with taking a guide up to the mountain who also turn out to be our porter for the day. Yep, we did not carry our bag..we asked him to carry it for us.. don’t think we can survive carrying 7kg bag all the way up.  After paying  Rm136 ( rm80 for guide and Rm56 for the bag, oh 1kg equal to rm8) Abang then sent us to the Timpohon gate. Oh yea, if your family member did not send you to timpohon gate there is a shuttle bus services to  send you over but you will need to pay rm16 per way per person! Super expensive yo! We only paid Rm36 because Abang send us over the first trip.

At Timpohon gate, abang bid us goodbye and promise to come and get us the next day.  I felt  like i was a lil girl whose dad left them at kindergarten that time. I don’t know whether i want to cry, be happy and excited or scare. I seriously don’t know what’s ahead of us. There was so many things playing in my head as soon as i cross that timpohon gate. One of it was..my knee problem. I was asking myself… can i actually survive this climb? What is my knee decided to really go very bad on me?? Can i still walk?

The 1st Km was a breeze for me.. but by the 2km..my knee started to lock up. I can feel the pinch on it but i continue till the 3rd km. We stop for while. Taking shelter from the rain and of cos the pain on my knee. At this point of our journey, i saw the biggest LEECH ever in my whole life and it’s in red color! OMG!  Here’s the wiki on this leech Apparently this leech doesn’t suck on human blood but only the giant earth worm in mount kinabalu!! Yes, i also saw the giant earth worm,hahahahha and yup…i squeal whenever i see this earth worm..geli la… here’s another site where you can check this creature out.

After about 20 min rest..we continued our journey up but decided not to stop at KM4. We only rest for 5 min at km5. The more we rest the more i feel it’s hard to keep the momentum of my Heart rate at steady pace everytime after i stop for rest. So in order to feel less pain for the knee and keep the pace of my heart rate steady, we decided to just walk again after 5 min rest at the km5. KM5 was the toughest route i feel of all the route from timpohon gate. The rocky road, the altitude, the wet weather, the knee pain… makes it a lil tough for me. It does really challenge you emotionally,mentally and physically.  The last KM before laban rata was the toughest.

But aside from it being tough, i also experienced and offered the most beautiful and gorgeous view that one could ever ask for! I really don’t feel like im in Sabah my very own hometown… the scenery, omg!! Breathtaking! The greenery that was offered to you there… wow!!! I can’t explain… you really need to go up and experience it yourself. I really feel like im almost near heaven! I’m not joking!

If you realize, i never mentioned our  guide in this post that’s because we’ve lost our guide! hahahah yes, we literally did lost our guide. He could not be seen anywhere near us..

We reach laban rata at around 2 plus in the evening. It took us 4:19 min to reach laban rata. Apparently, this is super fast for first timer…even our dear tour guide said so. He said our pace a lil toooo fast for first timer…but seriously, we were walking at super slow rate! We were basically dragging our feet on the grown!

Our dear tour guide only turn up after good 40 min upon us arriving at laban rata,LOL! We were freezing to the bone by then…the weather was at 10 degree at the time and all our fresh gear is with our tour guide! To keep ourself warm,( because we were all soaking wet) we have to buy hot drinks and hot maggi mee (instant noodle) and spent like hmm let me see…Hot milo Rm12, Hot Tea ( rm9/10) not the sabah tea because sabah tea is more expensive  and maggi mee at rm10/rm12! GILAAAAAA!!! And the food gets cold really really fast too! hahahahahaha… i have to eat super fast in order to get the heat in my body!

The sight of our tour guide was a relief for us. We quickly changed to a fresh gear and get ourself organize at our dorm.  If you think we took a shower.. you must be crazy! There was no hot shower for you to get clean at laban rata and if you dare enough to shower at freezing temperature… you can take an ice cold shower that freezes you like in 5 second!

This was the first time in my entire life that i did not take any clean shower after being sweaty and wet from all the trekking! I basically just wipe my body clean and rest in the bed after that and only to get up for our early dinner which was served at 4:30pm till 7pm.

After taking our dinner, we decided to take an early rest because we were required to be up at 2am in the morning the next day. I managed to pop 1 panadol and a pain killer just to relief the next day pain or known as Delay onset muscle soreness.. so i could continue my journey the next day. Trust me, the pain killer really help specially if you have knee pain

We did not sleep well that night not because of anything, but the dorm was so stuffy and small. There were 6 bunks in a room… and there was no window or fan for the air to circulate…  i have to asked Daniel to let the door open a lil for the air to come in.

By the way, the dorm is no longer equipped with heater, so if you need to dry your shoe up for the next day climb, you will need to pay rm20 for each pair of shoe to your guide so he can send it to a heated room to dry it up for you. Cut throat but you have no choice if you wanna be comfortable for the next day hike. It apply to all things that you want to dry up…even your nurse uniform

Hmm that was our first day in laban rata. Will be updating again on the second day hike after this. So stay tune for more.

So far my weekend has been really nice and good to me , although the day pass by kinda slow. But i guess i do need the R&R for bit

Yes, i spent 30min of my time last saturday on the beach walking around and admiring some of the beautiful sea shells ( till i jumpa all barang barang yang tidak patut dijumpai di tepi pantai,LOL) yang terdampar at the sea side..i’ve never seen sooooo many shells di tepi pantai like that..not even in KK! Heheh

At the moment while writing this post, im enjoying the noise that’s coming from the beach..they were suppose to have their function at the beach earlier on but kesian..hujan lebat spoiled their romantic evening as bride and groom..so they have to kena kasih pindah to don’t know where.. only now at 11:00pm diorang turun balik to just see firework display Ah.. it remind me of my soon to come wedding.. we will be doing garden wedding at the beach side juga.. i hope it won’t rain la that day.. kalau inda..hmmm.. sayang oh.

It was held at ministry of sound Sunway.The night was just so so for me.. wasn’t that interesting.

I got bored 30 mins after arriving at that  place…LOL!! But what to do… as a manager..you have to stay on. The party suppose to starts at 6pm..but as usual everything only starts at 7:30pm.. Malaysian timing la what else.

There were so many artist and celebrity there that night…and i met  STACY from AF! We bump into each other in the rest room! Of all places.. sana la kami jumpa and berchit chat! She is such a sweet girl..masih ada banyak ciri ciri orang SABAHAN..very pemalu but once she is on stage.. she is such a star! Her vocal is good! Strong and powerful! She sang 2 songs that night..one of the best performance for the night for me.

OK, Let’s skip to the interesting part.. (well at least for me la)I WON THE BEST DRESS OF THE NIGHT AWARD!! Can you imagine tu?? ME?? hahhahhaha.. i did not expect it at all… in fact they have to call my name like 4 times on stage!  hahahaah…My dress was  simple that night.. some of the staff there pakai even more extravaganza baju than me. Ada yg macam pakai ballroom gown…ada yang pakai bollywood style full of bling bling and glitters.. macam macam la…. tu la i did not expect to get the award..LANGSUNG TEDA and my baju price is only like Rm97 after discount, LOL!! As compare to their dresses…

Carven Ong creation was the award for me.. the dress apparently worth Rm3k! ( i did not know this until one of the staff told me, LOL! I was bored and was not listening and paying attention when they were announcing this on stage) Can you beat that..Rm97 dress winning rm3k dress? Hahahahahaha.. Knowing the award price baju made me feel GOOD and that made the night sweeter for me

The night ended at 1 plus am… nothing much to boast about except i won the best dress of the night and hahaaha… i felt like a superstar …just because everyone says i look gorgeous! ;P

Conversation..yea, everyone does that in daily life.. talk, talk, talk and talk… we can’t live without talking! That’s the fact! If not, no genius will create handphone or even house phone, right? But, nope im not gonna talk about telephone or handphone..but a weird conversation i had…yes, it was so weird to me that it made me think..are they for real or just being plain rude and insensitive?

My weirdest conversation happen when i was sent to Jakarta last june for training. It was lunch time. I was having lunch with 2 colleagues of mine. A girl and a boy. Both of them are younger then me. Rewind few days before the lunch incedent.. let’s name the girl J.

When i met J the first few days, she would not want to come and talk to me much.. i do not know why, but i put that as she is one shy girl. She would pass me by and gave me a quick smile and walk away..day in day out…the most she would ask me “mel, udah makan?” or How are you today mel… and that’s it .. nothing more nothing less. She is just that type of a person to me..doesnt do much talking and a real shy girl..

But all that changed when we had lunch.

You see, J didn’t came down with me to have lunch together..but so happen that there was no empty spot at the canteen and she was sitting all alone…i decided to join her and thought to myself..this will be an opportunity for me to get to know her better. First few minute of the conversation went well, she asked me “normal” questions but that all changed when the male colleague of mine decided to sit with us together….

J: Mel, mel pergi saloon selalu ya?

Me: No la..mel don’t go saloon (beauty parlour) often. Di Malaysia saloon mahal!  Tidak seperti di JKT..

J: Oh iya…tapi kenapa ketiak mel putih??? Mel pakai pemutih ketiak ya??

Me:  Gasp… Dumbfounded… taken aback….

What the hell! What kind of questions is this la??  I do not know how to react to it..be upset? laugh my ass out? or take that as compliment?

Me: I dont use any of those stuff.. i don’t believe in those product.

J: Tapi mel punya ketiak cukup putih…cantik… ketiak J hitam banyak tompokkan..jelek banget dan oleh kerana itu, J malu mau pakai singlet..

At this point, i could see she was actually looking at my armpit and the male colleague turn around and look at it too..OMG!! I was so malu and felt awkward terus ok… so happen on that day i was wearing sleeves top!!!i seriously do not know how to reply her back..

Thank goodness the male colleague of mine cut in and sort of stop the conversation…

He said: I think mel do not shave her armpit hair but instead she pluck it out..hence why  she do not have that razor bumps on her armpit-

Me: ‘Nod”

ask myself…she’s watching my armpit all this while???? WHY, WHEN and HOW?

J: ok….continue eating her lunch as if nothing happen…

I tell you that was one of the worse conversation i ever had in my whole life..dah la  I do not know her well, she asked me over lunch pula tu and it have to take place in front of a male collague whom i just get to know too!! OMG!!!

It really made me feel awkward… malu-fied ( yes, i was malufied ok) and geez… of cos offended!

I know she didn’t talk bad or meant ill towards me ..tapi .. takkan la kau tanya that kind of question to someone whom you just met like few days ago kan? Lagi lagi kalau tu orang kau punya manager and sort of your club guest…kalau dia tanya sia when im alone,  i don’t mind at all tapi… ni depan lelaki ba..astaga!!! Pengsan!

Btw, apparently she watched me whenever i lift my hands up to tie my hair  or while im working out!

It felt like it happen only yesterday that i  got HITCHED officially and now looking back it’s  nearly two months since 18.07.09 ( few more days it’s going to be two month) .

Both of us was so busy right after the engagement..we didn’t really get to enjoy our new status  as newly “ENGAGED”  and now we are already on the roll with the wedding plan.  The only time we had for ourself to enjoy our newly engaged status was our Krabi holiday..LOL!

As soon as we got back from kk.. things just got into fast farward mode ( that’s how i felt) i have to study and prepare my training module, going into meetings after meetings and then straight on to conducting training after training. On top of that, every weekend now we have to do loads of travelling, checking  out wedding stuff, flowers, venues, cakes.. make up artist..etc etc and not to forget..i have RCIA class to attend. Wahahahahhaahah… FULL BLAST YO!

In month of october, we have wedding course to attend, Feb flying back to KK for wedding interview and  i guess when we are there.. another loads of stuff to check and see. I am lucky to have my sister Anitha to help me out with kk side wedding reception..if not..haha, im sure im gonna pull my hair out!  Not a pretty sight to see when the bride start pulling her hair isn’t it..LOL!!!

Ahh.. even writing this up made me feel “waaa..so banyak kerja” but im not alone… I have a strong support from my family back home, sister and brother is running the whole show there, im so lucky to have them as my siblings… kalau inda i have no idea how am i gonna deal with the whole situation i believe.

In Kl, i have Dan’s mom, brother and cousin  sister helping us out and of cos… my strong macho man Daniel.

Saw this NC short term health insurance, that reminds me..i need to get my insurance stuff done too soon. ah..another to do list..

See… exactly what i said.. sekejap sana tu awan jadi hitam.. and bikin takut ar, sebab the wind was soo strong macam ada ribut pula sia rasa kadang kadang.

Me, riding bike on my own. I manage juga.. tapi inda la pi jalan raya.. only at the  hotel parking area. Best pula kan ride motor ni…LOL!LOL!

Just like the signage i was holding said.. this restaurant serve clean and good food!! Yummy.. tapi jangan harap makanan sini murah sangat….1 beef, vege , tom yam soup (small), 2 steam rice and 2 drinks.. can cost you up to Rm 34-36  but you won’t regret it la.

As you all may already know, we spent our weekend at Krabi this time around as our post engagement holiday. It was really fun! I really enjoyed the short weekend trip.

We arrived on Friday afternoon only to be greeted by rainy, cloudy and windy weather. The hotel coordinator told us that the weather has been like that for the past few days and may last till weekend. My heart sank when i heard the news.As soon as we reach the hotel, we waste no time and went out to check Krabi Pranang beach area. Before we stroll down the beach, Dan suggested that we should rent a motorbike to go around town and head we go hunt for motorbike rental place. Five minute walk later.. we found the place. For 200 baht per day (rm20) and we have our own “superbike” to travel in Krabi.

I was kinda nervous at first when Dan start the motorbike, it was my first time riding bike with him and that was his first too after his accident 10 years ago, LOL!! But after a while, we both had fun, laughing and Dan’s making funny sound and comments while riding the bike…ah.. that was quite an experience for me..oh did i mentioned? I also pandai pandai start motorbike and rode for about 200 meter back and forth..heheh that was fun..but i dont think i will do that here in Malaysia. Sini scary la.

Anyway, on the second day weather was still  gloomy and our island trip has to be cancelled due to choppy sea and unpredictable weather. We decided to extend the bike rental and took a trip down to Krabi town about 30 km away from where we stayed. At town, we took a boat to I can’t remember the river name now but it was suppose to bring us to this famous Krabi landmark. Along the way, we stop at one spot where we were allowed to go into a cave..that was scary yet exciting for me.. i never been to a cave before in my whole life..so that was the first (again) for me.

After the cave trip, the boat man took us to canal of mangrove.. i see lots and lots of kayu bakau “menari”. The way the tree intertwined with each other…really look like they were dancing. But the first thing pops in my mind when i saw the mangrove  was the dogs that was thrown at pulau ketam i wonder what happen to those dogs… sigh.. i hope every single of them was rescued now.

After the boat ride, which cost us 300 baht each (rm30 per person for an hour) we were suppose to go and climb this tiger cave with 1200 steps! Yes, you read that right 1200 steps.. but hahahah..someone said..er.. lets cancel that one and just go to gastrpod fossil beach.. and hop we go to that beach..sampai sana…hmm it was kinda dull for us.. so we didnt want to waste another Rm20 per person just to see batu or siput kerang yg sudah bertahun lama di dalam laut and jadi fossils… so we just did bit of shopping and went back home straight to hotel.

All in all.. the trip was really relaxing,fun and enjoyable  despite being disappointed for not being able to go to Phi Phi island and enjoy the white sandy beach as how Leonardo Dicaprio get to enjoy it in his movie called THE BEACH.

Dan and i promise we will come back to Krabi again soon to enjoy the island next round.

By the time you read this post i am already at airport on the way to Krabi for our 3 days 2 nights holiday ( if you are reading this tmrw morning, that is). I am excited yet at the same time worried. Excited cos it’s holiday means i dont have to work, worried because i have work bertimbun waiting for me here in Kl to settle I just hope i can enjoy this holiday. I have a loads to study before proceeding with the training that i am suppose to conduct for all the trainers here..pressure is on!

Anyway, these past few days has been a crazy day for me. I really had a busy week that i could not really attend to my blog and update it as often as before.. i have lost so much of my assignment due to my work schedule. Sampai rumah saja terus sia malas sudah..all i wanna do is rest and relax. sayang oh all my assigments tu…tsk tsk tsk.

Early morning on tuesday i had mild food poisoning..i think i have food poisoning. Early in the morning, i started vomitting but all that came out was yellow color fluid..and its so bitter! And then i start purging at around 9 am…sigh.. but i had to go to work.. because i have an important meeting to do.. i managed to hold everything back ( didn’t puke and purge) but towards the evening.. my head pula throbbing like hell! At one point, it was so painful that i really feel like puking again.. sigh..i have no idea why la. I think that was my migrain attacking.

Wednesday took an mc..went to clinic..Doc said, my tummy is full of gas but i have no idea what’s with my head…because that morning my head still throbbing … hmmm.. is it because of my period? I always have this weird sicknesses whenever i have my monthly visit..kenapa tu ar? Do you ladies experience the same thing?

Sigh.. any how.. i will continue with this on next round.. as its already 1am and i really need to sleep.. i seriously wanna know.. am i the only one experiencing  all this weird symptom?? Or is it normal??

Hmmm sidetrack sekejap… don’t you wish Malaysia too have a cool rv parks like those places in the west?? Heheheh.. i always wonder how it feels like to have a moving home must be fun ka? Boleh pigi picnic anywhere and everywhere without worrying much about building tents and all.

And oh… this trip … Dan and i will be travelling using the famous surgical mask! That will be our first…LOL!! Dan even said..we should address each other as Doctor Dan and Emelda and use the surgical gloves too!!  Wahahahah..i wonder what will the airport people say…Hmmmm…;P

Can you guess how much does this food and drink cost me in Jakarta? If you have been following my post about Jakarta, im sure you will be able to guess the price…. roughly.

Nothing is cheap when it comes to mall food court and not knowing many places where i can get food that similar to Malaysia food. i don’t have much choice but to have my lunch and dinner at mall food court. I wish i had someone bringing me around though..unfortunately…no one was free..sob sob….

But one thing i love about JKT mall food court is their cleanliness!!! It’s wayyyyyyyyy cleaner than Malaysia mall food court…seriously..even their toilets..OMG!!! I think i can even walk kaki ayam in the loo and not feeling disgusted at all, LOL!! And oh…I love the fresh fruit juice too.. its so pure and yummy! Wish i can find one place here in Malaysia where they serve 100% pure juice…no sugar, no ice and less water…hmmm yummy!! Anyone out there know where i can get this??

Anyway, if you are looking for Outer Banks rentals for your holidays outside of Malaysia, just hit the highlighted “note” . I wish i can go to one of the houses…but ….. it would be awesome if i could rent one of the houses there for my honeymoon or even my wedding venue…;) but hmm..mimpi saja la Mel….LOL!

KFC!! Food that i visit pretty often here, LOL!! They don’t serve it with Coleslaw or mash potato but with nice warm yummy rice I will miss this one, for sure!

Friday, exactly 7 more days from today i will be done and over with Jakarta life and i will start my new journey in KL. Im am so happy and excited about this but at the same time worried and nervous about it. Im not so sure if my training here did gave me enough confident and knowledge to bring it down to the trainers back in KL. I do hope i have though.

It was hard for me here in Jakarta. That’s the truth..i did enjoyed the time here (people are warm and friendly) but at the same time i had fair amount of “sufferings” as well .

First it was the food..i had hard time adjusting to the food here. Food that was familiar to me back at home was really costly here in Jakarta, cheap food means i have to take the local dish which honestly doesn’t really go well with my taste bud. Then came the language.. this was the toughest part for me. Because of the language barrier, i had hard time trying to understand the training module, speaking to the local and getting around town. You may think they understand us Malaysian but that’s not true..our language is different from them! So if you are coming down to Jakarta..i  suggest that you get a good language book in hand in case you don’t know any local here! Our pronounciation and the way we say it is totally different from them! We may have some word similar but mostly..nope!

Jakarta city offer you alot of shopping malls  and most of them are as big as Pavillion back in KL and barang barang sini pun inda la murah sangat. I can say, it’s similar to what kl can offer you and since price doesnt differ much from kl, i  didnt shop for the first time in my oversees trip.

Jakarta is a metropolis city. Offices was build on sky high building, huge, tall and beautiful! (rental pun sia dengar cantik juga ) But malangnya, the houses here are so scattered that it looks so messy and almost.. menyakitkan mata (i think they need the Outer Banks homes agency to help them )  and the road condition in this housing area really reminds me off jalan Ranau to Sandakan… betul betul rosak cuma beza dia ..you get this di dalam perumahan jakarta di tengah tengah bandar and bukan di kampung.

Im sure by now, you guys know that Jakarta is not the cleanness city you can ever get. Orang sini buang sampah merata rata tempat!  Once i was in a cab on the way to one of the club, the cab driver senang saja buka window trus buang sampah dari dalam kereta like its not a big deal ( memang pun its not a big deal for them but i was so shocked) and another time, i was walking with one of my colleague here..tengah syiok syiok bercerita.. he just spat right there and then in front of me!  I was speechless when that happen..sia kegelian trus, LOL! Mau tell him off..but hmmm.again i don’t think its unusual thing for them.

Yup, thats how i see Jakarta… You may see it differently from me..but hey, we are not the same people right?

But one thing i love about Jakarta is the people… they are so nice warm and lovely! I guess that will be the one thing that i will miss the most about this beautiful yet crazy place the warmed and friendly smile of Jakartan’s!

Anyhow,  some of you have asked me is it worth to come and visit Jakarta..of cos i would say yes! Come and see the place yourself..experienced it! You need to do that to know the place yourself…don’t take my words 100% ..again like i said..we may see it differently tapi i won’t recommend it if you wanna come here alone for a longggggggggg holiday! LOL!!

1 weeks gone, 2 and half more to go before i can go home and hug Gummi. I miss her so much, that i don’t even wanna go and see pet section in the mall..takut sia nangis. sigh..i wish i have a 3G phone so i can call back home and get to see gummi from it…sighhhhhhh.

My training was not as intense as i thought it would be maybe just  mentally challenging as i need to remember every single workout name in full! I’ve also learned few bahasa indonesia like Macet, Cepet, Jorok,kasus..LOL!!  But i still do not understand their food here..banyak bahasa yang sia inda faham and its kinda hard to order food because of that… as they do not know who to translate it to Bahasa Melayu. Tau la sia ni cerewet when it comes to food.

The traffic here is horrendous tahap gila..i do not know how Jakartan’s can take it everyday driving in that condition. Motorcycle, bas, car everything is in same lane and worse..they love to honk at each other..whether they are asking you to make way for them, angry honk, impatience honk, whatever la….. diorang mesti honk! Kalau honk sekali inda pa..ni balik balik…bikin panas!

But its totally different when it comes to the people here…they are so warm, welcoming, friendly and nice. They are so curious about me..always asking questions, where im from, what am i doing here, what race am i…banyakla..and now i have added few more people in my facebook friend list..and all of them are the trainers here.

When it comes to food, there is only 2 choices for you here. Either you spent your money on super expensive food (standardnya sama macam di ss2 wai sek kai..cuma kau dalam aircon area and mall) or you go to the most affordable food but its kinda hmmm..inda sedap. Ispent most of my money here buying food..i can’t get used to makanan diorang di sini specially in the kantin. Don’t ask me why they call it Canteen. Although some of it looks yummy tapi sia inda berani makan. In the food court,satu Char kuey tiaw equal to Rm8-9 per plate!  And kalau kau mau beli minuman kotak yang kecil where we normally get it in KL for Rm1..sini bulih sampai Rm3.50! That’s how mahal it is here bila you choose to makan in a good place. Sigh!! Gila i tell you..im sure i won’t need any diet pills that work if i hari hari macam ni..sure kurus dengan semula jadinya…LOL!

They even have their own saloon in the gym! Yes, i did my new hair color here..not too bad juga la the result! Murah highlight and coloring only around Rm164.

Pearl of the Orient@ Pulau Pinang

Yes, i just got back from the island today, loads of things has changed there since my last visit back in year 2003…i can’t remember most of the place now but i enjoyed the short trip. It was only a day trip this time around but im sure the next one will definitely be a longer trip.

We arrived at the airport around 9am and my new colleague was kind enough to bring Jeff and me to makan place in the morning before heading to the gym.

Gurney area didn’t change much..the stall that we used to go and makan was still there..the beach area was still the same except the mall apparently got a new extension to it. Back in FF years, whenever we go to Penang it only meant one thing…PIGGING OUT TIME! Yea, we were so crazy that we wallop anything and everything..that time i could afford to makan like that la..but now, heh..i have to control my food intake..yea la, i don’ t workout as much as before anymore..metabolism pun kurang dy..susah juga kan kalau tiba tiba ada orang yg mau kena pakai AED to revive ourself back kan??LOL!! Palis-palis!

Today also marked the last day im gonna be seeing this dude(Jeff)… and that’s mean when i’m back from Jakarta and my holiday…i will be on my own already, i am definitely nervous because one week of learning and trying to understand the culture of the clubs is not enough..but i hope with the training provided in Jakarta…im good to go.

Hmm… nervous, nervous! But, whatever it is…life have to go on kan? And with that said, i thanked Jeff for everything..for teaching me and showing me around the club for the past one week. Hope to see you again! Im sure i will call you bila me balik from Jakarta..im sure i have forgetten where and what i need to do first thing in the morning when i arrive the club again in August! LOL!

Other note… i’m leaving soon..sob sob..im worried definitely, i have never been outside of Malaysia for so long all by myself although im sure my colleagues in Jakarta a nice people  but i am worried about sleeping at new place all alone on the first day..tau la kan…strange place and all..i hope i can sleep..aiya. I hope teda la bunyi yang bukan bukan di tengah malam..kalau inda, siapa la sia akan call?? Aaaaarg! “Guntalou juga sia ni, jangan kama”

I must remind myself to bring one of Dan’s baju….just to “tipu” my otak at least for the first few days, LOL!

Thinking about leaving them behind make me miss them so much already…aiseh! Sob Sob!

I need money…i need money..i need money…YES, I NEED MOOLAH!!!! Although i know moolah is coming to visit me soon but that will only happen in 4 weeks time from now..and then all that moolah will again be “invested” in the bank.. ARGGGGG..dang it..we work to pay only for the  freaking damn debts…arg…well that at least for me now..i need to catch up with what ever that i did not pay for the past few months..1st thing that i need to pay off is MY CAR..my beloved car. 1 more year to go and im done paying that car installment and im debt free (at least for the car la) so sayang la if i let the car go..although i have thought about selling it off..but hmmm..tak sampai hati juga.

Earlier this month, i went to the bank to apply for their so called super fast debit card approval..hahaha…that was just a freaking lie.. its almost 3 weeks now..i still haven’t heard from them so i decided to call the HQ yesterday..guess what??? The application is still in process!!! WTF! Now, im worried …will they decline my debit card application? They shouldn’t right? Because after all its my money in the bank, unlike credit card…Hmmm ntah la. Kalau this tak approve juga..pengsan la me..i’ve been keeping and saving all my hard work money from blogging to use for my trip back to kk which is only 6 weeks away from now (i think its 6 week) and without that money…waaaaaaaa..i memang kering macam ikan masin la ni bila sia balik kk… dang it! MONEY MONEY MONEY…isk! So menyusahkan..with you pun susah without you pun susah! With you i can get what ever i want like discount lingerie or some cute lil stuff… tapi bila over spent pula, mampus kering balik..bila kering… makan roti kering sajala…isk! Balik lagi sia jadi ikan kering…waaaaa…

Kering ,kering ,kering…sigh.

Anyway, this weekend i hope it will be a better weekend for me not like last week, .. i really need to go out this weekend to get stuff for my trip back to kk…maybe not buying it(yet) but just do price comparison… i don’t think i have enough time when i start with the new work.. my weekend will be taken away. Yea i work weekend but im hoping that this coming interview (friday) will be a good news for me..it’s something that im really looking forward for and i hope im hired. Please, please Lord have mercy on me ..please give me this job, i want the job.

Oh dear, im excited and  nervous at the same time.

Hmm, i guess that’s all for  now..need to do some house chores and do myself a Chappati for breakfast Yes, i can do chappati from scracth! Hehehehe…thanks to Dan’s mom, my cooking improved! Ah..maybe on my next post, will show you guys how i did my chappati for the first time…i had a good laugh at myself!

Hah!  So much of my “I wanna be lazy on my birthday plan and talk” wahahhaha..so not! I ended up cleaning the house.. sweeping, mopping, washing all dishes, feed gummi,clean her cage and gave her shower…u know why?? Because of stupid American idol result! I was so irritated and sakit hati that Kris won the title..sometimes i wonder…Orang america ni ada otak ka inda da? Do they choose talent or look? I thought American Idol was talent contest not “beauty contest”…sigh..oh well..Im sure Adam will be a successful singer from today onwards even if he didn’t get to be crowned as American Idol Winner. Yeay to that! Nevertheless, Congrats Kris…wish you all the best and good luck with your new career!

Enough with AI..come back to me. So there’s so much of things has happen since the last day i updated my post. I when for an interview yesterday at Sri Kembangan..not sure if  im gonna get that job or not  but if  i do ..hmmm..i may need to rethink again..LOL!! Basic rendah and the travelling time needed is ridiculously panjang from home to Kembangan its like 45 minutes for me…adeh deh.. pengsan la sia kalau hari hari spend that much time on the road to work and back home and that timing tak masuk traffic jam…imagine if its peak time…arg..i may spent like 2 hours…LOL!

And then in the evening, i volunteered for Harlem Globetrotters event.  Dan’s company needed help and i offered myself to do it, easy job..just usher Datuks and Datins to their sit..and thats about it..the hard part was..to recognize them and then “halau” orang tak faham bahasa…yes… sometimes people can be such a pain in the arse la.tsk tsk tsk..i had so much fun at the event…i laughed so much that my jaw was hurting and same goes to my tummy… they were damn funny and talented!  Will show pictures later.

On Monday, i made a trip to KLIA…No i was not there to fetch anyone or buy ticket to some exotic get away holiday, but i was there for my cousin and my lil niece Brooklyn. They have 3 hours to spare before their flight back to Sdyney..since i do not know when will i see them again.. so i took the chance to go and see them. I only have 1 half hour time together but it is worth every toll money and gas for me. Ya la.. like i said..i do not know bila lagi i can see them..they come back to kk once a year and its not always the same month and date as my travelling plan back to kk…so yea.. and OMG, my niece is such a cutie pie, friendly, talkative ( in baby language) and hahahah…very naughty. She rebut my fruit from my hand and finish it up..yes, my cousin bought few bananas from Kg…sia makan sikit saja..the rest habis my niece makan..hahah..Brook sempat lagi kasih pecah one glass in the airport..she nearly gave her mom a heart attack! I hope i will be bale to see them again soon…like in a years time from now, not 5 or 10 years down the road

Today was my 1st birthday celebration at Dan’s family house ( last year we were out celebrating it). Dan’s mom made me a cheese cake(yummy cheese cake) and Dan’s Step dad cooked me dinner. At least one of my wish today came true heheh..Im so thankful for their nice warm gesture… ya la, im not their daughter ( yet) but they really made an effort for my day..althought its small celebration..but it meant a lot to me. Thank you Auntie and Uncle..and Sumee for being there, celebrating my birthday together. Really appreciate it.

So im a year older ..im officially 28 today …gonna hit the number 3 soon… am i hating it you ask?? NOPE..i dont..i like my age and im waiting for the number 3 to come soon too ( patiently)… Even with number 3 in front..i dont think my life will change a lot…i will only be wiser, richer, prettier and happier!  Im loving my life!

It was a nerve wrecking experience for me yesterday. We decided to do a surprise birthday party for Her and Dan came up with the most craziest never thought idea before… He asked me to cook! I was of cos reluctant at first but i didn’t  say anything about it..i simple nod and say ok…. I was reluctant because i never cooked for anyone else except for Dan and myself… can you imagine all the questions running through my head at 100KMP speed?? (ok, i exaggerate too much but yea… all those questions and doubts keep popping in my head!) What if she doesn’t like my food? What if she said it’s too salty? What if she said ooh the ingredients not enough..should add this and that?? OH MAN.. i was really nervous…. but i accept the challenge without much complaint..LOL!

So Daniel decided that i should cook one of my specialty…Deep fried fish and also steam vege with oyster sauce…so off me when to hypermarket to get all the ingredient including a small birthday cake…

6:30pm i started cooking and finished just right on the dot to give her the surprise…It was just a simple cooking…

All in all..i was happy that i did the cooking…everyone enjoyed the food.. but what matter most was Auntie, im glad that she really enjoyed the food. She even tambah nasi twice which something we don’t normally see at home..yes Dan’s mom is a small eater..She love the fish head the most and “operated” the head to small pieces..LOL! She even said.. next time if our family want to makan Chinese food..we call you to cook for us ok?…LOL!! Pengsan la me… pressure is on! Mau kena pi cari recipe book la ni tau…mau belajar more about Chinese dishes…LOL!!!

I really like what took place yesterday…i cooked for Dan’s family… we all sat at the table together and eat together at the same time ( yes, this is a rare oppurtunity for all of us here… since everyone is living separately and have their own commitment already), We talked about everything and anything, shared a good laughter together and even browsed through Dan’s family old pictures..

It felt like i was back at home again yesterday with my own family members..something that i don’t get to enjoy everyday..but only 7 days out of 365 days in a year….ah…family.

Ok la, now back to my story… Last saturday i celebrated my birthday party ( early birthday party) at Laundry the Curve. It wasn’t anything grand but just a simple get together party although it somehow feel like it’s Dan’s birthday party more than mine.I think out of 20 people only 5 was my circle of friend..But it’s not that i don’t know any of them , so i guess that’s counted as my friend too…

We started with dinner at Laundry till 11pm and then head on to Red box till 4am singing our lungs out… it was fun nite..nothing crazy..no one was drunk like mad..no vomitting, no crawling… just what i wanted it to be After that we head on to mamak for some supper@ breakfast… usual malaysian lifestyle. We reached home at 5:30am

I am sure this won’t be my last birthday party for this year i know there will be another one coming up real soon… LOL! This time… its Family and cousins time celebration! Wahahahaha…
